Inclusion Criteria
• Patients with symptomatic persistent AF (>7 days and <12 months AF duration) undergoing a redo-ablation procedure (previous procedure(s) had to be PVI only).
• Age =18 years
Exclusion Criteria
• PVI with additional ablation targets (CFAE, lines other than CTI) during the previous ablation procedure(s)
• Paroxysmal AF (including patients that are cardioverted within 7 days after episode onset)
• Longstanding persistent AF (>12 months with a continuous episode of AF)
• Contra-indication to catheter ablation therapy
• LA-diameter >60 mm
