Inclusion Criteria
Adult subjects of any age and sex with normal hearing or hearing disorders of various degrees.
Adult patients of any age and gender with diseases of the middle or inner ear.
- who undergo surgery at the University Hospital of Otorhinolaryngology Oldenburg
- patients with a pre-existing eardrum defect/tympanic membrane tube
- Patients who are undergoing a promontory test for diagnostic purposes.

Name Time Method Registration of cochlear microphone potentials invasively, non-invasively and intra-operatively in subjects or patients with an electroencephalography (EEG) device. The recording is performed at different acoustic presentation levels and with a selection of different stimuli.
