1.Migraine sufferers with or without aura, diagnosed as per ICHD-3 beta classification of headache, 2013
2.History of suffering from migraine for at least one year
3.Age range 12 to 65 years
4.Both sexes
5.Given written consent for the study
6.Willingness to comply with probable dietary regimes advised by the treating physician, especially refraining from strong coffee, peppermint, camphor and other substances with strong odors.
Note: Patients on life-saving conventional drug therapies, e.g. anti-diabetics, anti-hypertensives, thyroid drugs etc. for co-morbidities under control, as well as ââ?¬Ë?rescue analgesicsââ?¬• as and when required will be continued.
1.Patients with transformed migraine or who were previously diagnosed with chronic diseases known to have influence on migraine specific quality of life scores, such as depression, diabetes, osteoarthritis, congestive heart failure, hypertension, angina, myocardial infarction, asthma or chronic low back pain [24]
2.Other headaches more troublesome than migraine, or other causes of chronic or recurrent pain
3.Overt depression
4.Spinal trauma within the last 4 years
5.Use of specific migraine prophylactics within 2 months prior to entry
6.Cases with other systemic unevaluated, uncontrolled and/or complicated diseases or infections affecting quality of life
7.Psychiatric illness
8.Change in use of oral contraceptives in the previous 6 months, or during the trial
9.Patients with any vital organ failure
10.History of homeopathic treatment for any chronic disease within last 6 months
11.Self-reported immune-compromised states
12.Alcohol and /or drug addiction or dependence
13.Lactation and pregnancy
14.Not giving written consent form
