Inclusion Criteria
Patients belonging to American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status grade I or II of either sex aged between 25 to 80 yrs, scheduled for total knee replacement surgery.
Exclusion Criteria
Patient refusal
Preexisting infection at block site
Coagulation disorder
History of psychiatric illness and preexisting neurological deficits
Patient with morbid obesity BMI >40 kg/ m2
Decreased pulmonary reserve, cardiac disorders and renal dysfunctions
Known allergy to study drugs
