Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Diagnosis of IBS as per ROME IV Criteria.
- •Age group between18\-45years.
- •Patients who did not practice yoga in the last 6 months.
- •Not enrolled in any other alternative medicine programs.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Patients having medical illness requiring priority management.
- •Patients with pre\-existing Gastrointestinal disorders other than Functional Gastrointestinal Syndromes, patients with history of gastrointestinal surgery or abnormal upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy
- •Patients having chronic medical illness like hypertension, chronic kidney disease and diabetes mellitus.
- •Taking drugs producing GI symptoms or affecting GI motility.
- •Patient already receiving psychotropic medication.
- •Patients who are unable to participate in yogic session for any reason.
