Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • Diagnosis of IBS as per ROME IV Criteria.
  • Age group between18\-45years.
  • Patients who did not practice yoga in the last 6 months.
  • Not enrolled in any other alternative medicine programs.

Exclusion Criteria

  • Patients having medical illness requiring priority management.
  • Patients with pre\-existing Gastrointestinal disorders other than Functional Gastrointestinal Syndromes, patients with history of gastrointestinal surgery or abnormal upper and lower gastrointestinal endoscopy
  • Patients having chronic medical illness like hypertension, chronic kidney disease and diabetes mellitus.
  • Taking drugs producing GI symptoms or affecting GI motility.
  • Patient already receiving psychotropic medication.
  • Patients who are unable to participate in yogic session for any reason.
