1.Unmarried and married women of age group 18-40 Years
2. Both newly diagnosed and already diagnosed cases of PCOS will be included in the study.
3. Any one of the following features of artavadushti with PCO features on USG.
Classical features of Artava dusti and Modern features
1. Artavakshaya(Oligomenorrhoea Or Amenorrhoea)
2. Atipravruti & Vikruti (Menstrual Irregularities)
3. Abeeja (Anovulation)
4. Sthaulya (Obesity)
5. Atiloma (Sthula loma ganda)- Hirustisum
6. Acne
7. Acanthosis nigricans
1. Pelvic / Systemic diseases causing Oligomenorrhoea and Anovulation.
2. Organic lesions of reproductive tract like T.B, Carcinoma and congenital deformities.
3. Patients suffering from any one of the following clinical conditions will be excluded
(a) Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia
(b) Androgen secreting neoplasm
(c) Cardiac diseases
(d) Cushingâ??s syndrome
4. Patients suffering from uncontrolled Diabetes or Hypertension.
5. Unwilling patients
6. Pregnancy.
7. Below age of 18yrs and above the age of 40 yrs
