ASA I and II patients

Patients requiring invasive blood pressure monitoring

Exclusion Criteria

Patientâ??s refusal to participate

Skin erosions near the insertion site

Diabetes mellitus, insufficient compensatory blood flow, Raynaud syndrome, coagulopathy and other vascular diseases

Obesity defined by body mass index >30 kg/m2

1)Number of attempts taken for successful cannulation <br/ ><br>2)Time taken for successful cannulation(T1) <br/ ><br>3)Incidences of complications like digital ischaemia, thrombosis, haemmorhage and haematoma formation, infection, abnormal skin colour, or neurologic examinations <br/ ><br>Timepoint: 1)Immidiately after succesful intraarterial cannulation <br/ ><br>2)Immidiately after confirming succesful arterial cannulation <br/ ><br>3)upto fifth post operative day
