Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\.Diagnosis of single episode of major depressive disorder without psychotic symptoms
- •2\.Diagnosis of recurrent episodes of major depressive disorder without psychotic symptoms
- •3\.Ability to read and write Tamil
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\.Comorbidity of other mental disorders
- •2\.Any history or current symptoms or treatment which affect the central nervous system or mood ( brain pathology, traumatic brain injury, dementia, infectious diseases)
- •3\.Severe dysfunction characterized by significant disturbances in sleep, appetite and activities of daily living
- •4\.Intellectual disability (estimated IQ less than 70\)
