Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Gestational age \> 34 weeks
  • •Birthweight \> 2 kg
  • •Undergoing abdominal surgeries
  • •Elective/emergency surgeries

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Gestational age \<\= 34 weeks
  • •Neonates with pre\-existing fever, Hypothermia, sepsis
  • •Hemodynamically unstable or under more than one vasopressors
  • •Diagnosed hypothyroidism/hyperthyroidism
  • •Refusal by the parents to give consent
