Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •Gestational age \> 34 weeks
- •Birthweight \> 2 kg
- •Undergoing abdominal surgeries
- •Elective/emergency surgeries
Exclusion Criteria
- •Gestational age \<\= 34 weeks
- •Neonates with pre\-existing fever, Hypothermia, sepsis
- •Hemodynamically unstable or under more than one vasopressors
- •Diagnosed hypothyroidism/hyperthyroidism
- •Refusal by the parents to give consent
