1. All patients who are referred by a clinician with suspected lung malignancy on radiological assessment.
2. A pulmonary lesion primarily identified as benign but showed increase in size during follow up imaging.
3. A pulmonary lesion primarily identified as benign but did not respond to therapy.
1. All the patients with a history of previous surgery for lung resection(because post-surgical adhesions may protect against pneumothorax).
2. All patients with pleural effusion.
3. Patients with inadequate coagulation profile (prothrombin time <1.4 and/or platelets <80,000/ml).
4. Any patient on anti aggregants and anticoagulant treatment.
5. Patients who were not able to follow verbal or visual instructions.
6. Subjects who refuse to give consent for participation in the study.
