Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • 1)Patients with Dyspeptic symptoms such as epigastric pain, heart burn, flatulence, early satiety.
  • 2)Patients who are undergoing Upper GI endoscopy for the first time in Deptt. of Gastroenterology in IGMC, Shimla .
  • 3)Patients who are willing to participate in the study.
  • 4)Normal Hearing to be checked by watch test

Exclusion Criteria

  • 1.Not giving Consent for the study
  • 2.Inability to communicate.
  • 3.Previous endoscopy procedures
  • 4.Impaired Hearing
  • 5.Not able to fill the Proforma
  • 6.Hemodynamic Instability
  • 7.On Antihypertensive Drugs
  • 8.On Anti psychotic Drugs
  • 9. Patient on Antibiotics, Proton Pump Inhibitor in the last Two week
  • 10.Patient requiring Emergency Endoscopic Procedure
  • 11.Patient with prescheduled Therapeutic Endoscopic Procedure
