1. Patients of age group: 23 to 60 years.
2. Controlled Diabetic and hypertensive
patients.
3. More than or equal to 20 teeth and more than or equal to 4 mastication units. (0ne pair of molars in occlusion was considered two units and one pair of premolars in occlusion was considered one unit.)
4. Moderate to severe periodontitis patients with inflammation & periodontal pockets in more than or equal to 4 sites (must include molars) and a depth of more than or equal to 4mm and CAL.
5. Grade I &II mobile teeth.
6. Single crown restorations.
1. Patients who had underwent any periodontal therapy in the past 6 months and those who are on antibiotics.
2. Grade III mobile teeth.
3. Teeth indicated for extraction.
4. Patients with TMJ disorder with clicking sounds/deviation.
5. Patients with implants.
6. Patients using orthodontic appliances.
7. Removable partial dentures.
8. Patients with parafunctional habits
9. Pregnant women
10. Smokers
