Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. patients of full age (\>18 years)
- •2\. age at the time of patient education \= 80 years
- •3\. patients who are capable of giving consent
- •4\. existing written and signed declaration of consent to participate in the study
- •5\. patients in whom surgical treatment of a juxta\- or infrarenal abdominal aortic aneurysm is planned at the Clinic for Vascular Surgery and Endovascular Surgery Heidelberg.
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. patients who are not capable of giving consent
- •2\. refusal to participate in the study
- •3\. emergency indication (symptomatic or ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysms)
- •4\. cognitive or physical impairment that makes cooperation in the use of the mixed reality viewer impossible
- •5\. discontinuation of study participation or withdrawal of a signed informed consent form (leads to deletion of data, provided anonymisation has not yet taken place)
