- •1)Poorly controlled diabetes mellitus (HbA1c >8%) 2)Established treatment with colestimide, alufa-GI or insulin 3)Hepatic disorder 4)Renal dysfunction 5)Acute myocardial infarction, unstable angina and stroke within 3 months of enrollment 6)Secondary hyperlipidemia or drug-induced hyperlipidemia 7)Familial hyperlipidemia 8)Ineligible in the opinion of the investigator
