Inclusion Criteria
Children who have undergone heart surgery for a congenital heart defect and have received perioperative antimicrobial therapy.
Exclusion Criteria
No antimicrobial therapy.

Name Time Method Is there a correlation between the duration of PAbP and the need for secondary antimicrobial escalation or postoperative length of stay in hospital?

Name Time Method Is there evidence that patients benefit from a PAbP of more than 24 hours? Is there a correlation between the duration of invasive ventilation and the duration of PAbP? Is there a correlation between postoperative inflammatory parameters and secondary antimicrobial escalation? Does the PAbP duration correlate with the occurrence of postoperative wound infections, positive blood cultures or postoperative survival?
