Inclusion Criteria
Children should be less than 5 years old and they accompanied by their mother or caregiver and they intend to reside in the village for at least 6 months after enrollment in the trial
Exclusion Criteria
Children more than 59 months old and if they receieved blood transfusion in 1 year and active infection or fever >101 �°F will be excluded from this trial.

Name Time Method The findings of the project would be useful to understand the prevalence of anemia and associated risk factors in the children of north-eastern part of Uttar Pradesh. The research findings can be apply in the development of community-based public health intervention to reduce the prevalence of anemia in children.Timepoint: 1 year
