1.Individuals with fasting plasma glucose (FPG) levels between 100-125 mg/dl or hemoglobin A1C (HbA1C) levels between 5.7-6.4%.
2.Not consuming any herbal supplements for at least 1 month prior to participating in the study.
3.Not consuming any herbal supplements for at least 1 month prior to participating in the study.
4.Must be willing volunteers who are able to participate in follow-up tests and the study for a duration of 8 weeks
1.Individuals with diabetes.
2.Patients with other causes leading to high blood sugar levels such as receiving steroids, having chronic liver disease.
3.Cancer patients undergoing treatment.
4.Patients with kidney disease with blood creatinine levels greater than or equal to 2 milligrams/deciliter or undergoing kidney replacement therapy.
5.Patients with chronic liver disease or having aspartate transaminase (AST) and alanine transaminase (ALT) enzymes levels greater than 3 times the normal value.
6.Taking medication affecting blood sugar levels.
7.Pregnant or lactating women.
