Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •\- Age of at least 18 years
  • •\- Sufficient cognition to understand the task
  • •\- Able to walk without orthopedic shoes
  • •\- Shoe size within the range 38\-43
  • •Additional inclusion criteria for healthy participants:
  • •\- No pain or impairment affecting gait
  • •Additional inclusion cirteria for patient participants:
  • •\- Gait impairment due to a stroke, incomplete spinal cord injury (iSCI) or
  • •hereditary motor and sensory neuropathy (HMSN), indicated by a specialized
  • •physical therapist.

Exclusion Criteria

  • •\- Unable to walk for 10 minutes (rests and walking aids are allowed)
  • •\- Gait and/or balance impairment due to (neurological or musculoskeletal)
  • •disease other than stroke, iSCI or HMSN.
