Having nasogastric / orogastric tube
Routine food intake (intermittent enteral feeding with available solutions)
Intolerance of enteral feeding (Gastric residual volume> 500 ml)
Radiotherapy and surgery in the abdominal region during the last 6 weeks
Contraindications for heat therapy in the abdominal region such as cellulite, abdominal tumors, peritonitis, abdominal aneurysm, ascites
Being an NPO (due to preparation for diagnostic tests or surgery)
Having diarrhea (watery stools three or more times a day, 200 to 250 ml)
Having fever (T> 38 º C)
Hyperglycemia (BS> 200), due to its effect on peristalsis
Any electrolyte disturbance, due to the effect on peristalsis
Opium addiction
Any chronic gastrointestinal disease (inflammatory bowel disease, gastrointestinal cancer, etc.)
Any drugs affecting gastrointestinal peristalsis such as tricyclic antidepressants, NSIDs, anticholinergics, vasopressors (> 10 µg/kg/min)
Acute gastrointestinal disorders at the time of the study, including bleeding
Shock
Discharge from the ICU or death during the intervention
The patient's family members withdrawal to consent

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Gavage intolerance (Gastric residual volume more than 500 milliliters in six hours). Timepoint: Before the intervention, before each gavage (8 times a day), until the treatment of gavage intolerance. Method of measurement: Lavage of gastric residual volume with syringe.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Abdomen circumference. Timepoint: Before the intervention, before each gavage (8 times a day), until the treatment of gavage intolerance. Method of measurement: using meter measuring tape.
