1.Patient with the combination of regional 1.pain, reference pain pattern, presence of trigger points, and induction of pain with pressure on a trigger point.
2. Patient age above 18 years
3. Patients with natural posterior occlusion.
4.Patients who are not receiving any TMD treatment since last 6 months.
5. Absence of bony pathology which will be confirmed with the help of panoramic radiograph.
1. Systemic disease such as diabetes mellitus, epilepsy, heart disease, degenerative joint disease, rheumatoid arthritis, psychiatric disease.
2.Patients using any removable prosthesis or the absence of more than 1 tooth
per quadrant and major malocclusion.
3.Symptoms that could be caused by other orofacial diseases (eg, toothache, neuralgia, migraine)
4.Patient with ongoing treatment or any medication for TMD.
5. Trauma to Oro-facial region
6. Patients allergic to acrylic resin
