Inclusion Criteria
1) patients of age 18-60 years of age
2)Patients in American Society of Anaesthesiology Classification I and II
3) Patient who were candidates for orthognathic surgery involving an intraoral incision.
Exclusion Criteria
1)History of systemic disease, coagulopathy, bleeding disorder.
2)Patients in American Society of Anaesthesiology Classification 3 and 4
3)Patients under corticosteroid therapy.
4)Patients requiring surgery involving extraoral incision.
