Inclusion Criteria
All those undergoing inguinal hernia surgery under local anesthesia above 18 years
Exclusion Criteria
a)Prior involvement in another study.
b)Known allergy to Bupivacaine/ Ropivacaine or hypersensitivity reaction detected after the test dose
c)Patients who are suffering from Cardiac and respiratory disorders.
d)Patients not able to understand the nature of the study
g)Patients with complicated inguinal hernia
