Inclusion Criteria
18-65 years old at the time of the operation, cartilage damage and/or medial gonarthrosis with existing varus deformity treated by medial open wedge osteotomy (from 1.1.2004 to 31.12.2017).
Exclusion Criteria
older than 65 years, limited mobility, in particular more than 20 ° extension deficit, systemic or local inflammation as well as insufficient soft tissue conditions of the proximal tibia

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method · As low as possible conversion rate to the knee joint endoprosthesis after HTO (high tibial osteotomy) in the long-term follow-up (comparison: 96% in the 5-year follow-up)<br>· Lysholm score at the time of follow-up
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Telephone query of the health and recovery process ten years after the original operation. The following scores are then calculated for each patient:<br><br>· KOOS Score (Knee Injury and Osteoarthritis Outcome)<br>· IKDC (International Knee Documentation Commitee)<br>· Visual analogue scale<br>· WOMAC Score (Western Ontario and McMaster Universities Osteoarthritis Index)
