Inclusion Criteria
Patients with stable angina between 35-65 years belonging to both sexes.
Patients with hypertension between 35-65 years belonging to both sexes
Exclusion Criteria
Diabetes mellitus
Hepatic/renal dysfunction
Tobacco consumption in any form within previous 6 months
Pregnant or lactating women
CHF [NYHA class II TO IV]
Recent myocardial infarction
History of unstable angina.
History of allergy to statins or pioglitazone
Severe or uncontrolled hypertension(>160/110 mmHg)
