Target population are divided into 4 groups
1.Myopia with POAG
2.Emmetropia with POAG
3. Myopia without glaucoma
4. Emmetropia without glaucoma
Inclusion Criteria for all groups
Age > 40 years
POAG group
Inclusion criteria
- IOP ≥ 21 mmHg
- Open angle on gonioscopic examination
- Characteristic signs of optic disc damage (glaucomatous optic neuropathy)
- Glaucomatous visual field defects on perimetry
Non-glaucoma group
Inclusion criteria
Patients with no evidence of
- Enlargement of optic disc cup: cup-to-disc (C:D) ratio > 0.5
- Focal enlargement of cup disc cup
- Loss of retinal nerve fiber layer defect
- Asymmetrical of cupping between the patients' eyes (difference > 0.2)
- IOP elevation ≥ 21 mmHg
- No family history of glaucoma
Myopia group
Inclusion criteria
- Patients who has refractive error (spherical equivalence) ≥ -4.00 D
- Patients who has axial length ≥ 26 mm.
Emmetropia group
Inclusion criteria
- Patients who has refractive error (spherical equivalence) between -0.50 and +0.50 D
- Patients who has axial length < 26 mm.
Exclusion Criteria for all groups
- Patients with history of any other ocular pathology (except for cataract, posterior vitreous detachment, dry eye without keratitis)
- Patients with any corneal pathology
- Patients with history of corneal surgery e.g. pterygium excision, refractive surgery
- Patients with history of cataract surgery e.g. Phacoemulsification, Extracapsular cataract extraction (ECCE), Intracapsular cataract extraction (ICCE)
- Pregnancy
- Patients with underlying connective tissue disease
- Patients who unable to give consent
- Patients who unable to perform the test
POAG group
Exclusion criteria
Other types of glaucoma included combined mechanism of glaucoma e.g. POAG with uveitis glaucoma
Non-glaucoma group
Exclusion criteria
Patients who have no data or unable to assess optic disc
