Eligibility Criteria

Inclusion Criteria

  • •Patient \> 18 years
  • •Patient requiring central venous catheterisation for any clinical reason

Exclusion Criteria

  • •Patients with
  • •Coagulopathies (Severe coagulation abnormalities (platelets \<\=50,000/ μL, or INR \>\=1\.5, or PTT \>\=50 s) will be corrected before Cannulation
  • •Patient on therapeutic anticoagulants
  • •Distorted chest anatomy
  • •Superior vena cava syndrome
  • •Infective Endocarditis
  • •Infection at the cannulation site
