Inclusion Criteria

In this clinical trial, 60 patients over the age of 20 and under 50 with the mood phase of mood disorders between 1400 and 1402 are candidates for ECT.

Exclusion Criteria

Patients with a history of alcohol and other substance use within one month prior to enrollment, epilepsy, mental retardation, illiteracy, cognitive impairment such as delirium and dementia, and mental retardation with a history of Donepezil use within one month prior to enrollment. Anemia, malnutrition, and substance use disorders will be excluded from the study based on the DSM5 criteria patients who discontinue treatment.

Primary Outcome Measures

The overall score of Eden Brook test after ECT in 5 and 10 mg donepezil groups and liothyronine group. Timepoint: Patients' cognitive ability will be assessed 24 hours before and 24 hours after the end of ECT sessions, as well as one month and two months after the end of ECT using the Eden Brook cognitive examination test. Method of measurement: Aden Brook Cognitive Test Revised Version (ACE-R): Aden Brook Cognitive Test for diagnosing dementia in the early stages of the disease was made by Matura Nat and colleagues, which is capable of distinguishing between types of dementia such as Alzheimer's disease, front-temporal dementia, paralysis It is progressive in the superior nucleus and other parkinsonian syndromes and helps in the diagnosis of cognitive disorders.
