Inclusion Criteria
- •Preterm infants (gestational age \< 34 weeks) with intraventricular hemorrhage grade III and progressive post\-hemorrhagic ventricular dilatation
Exclusion Criteria
- •congenital cerebral malformation
- •cerebral parenchymal hemorrhage/infarction
- •periventricular leucomalacia
- •PHVD already present at birth
- •infection of the CNS
- •metabolic disorder
