Inclusion Criteria

Age 20 and greater
-Diagnosed with heart failure
-Under outpatient cardiac rehabilitation program
-Written informed consent provided

Exclusion Criteria

-Hypersensitivity to empagliflozin, SGLT2 inhibitors or iodine
-Renal dysfunction (eGFR<30 mL/min/1.73 m2 or under dialysis)
-History of hypotension or hypoglycemia
-History of urinary tract infection or genital infection
-Severe infectious disease
-Pregnancy
-Nursing
-Any participant judged not suitable for this study by investigators
