Inclusion Criteria

Adults between 18 and 60 years of age having a lower abdominal surgery under spinal anesthesia and belonging to ASA grade 1 - 2

Exclusion Criteria

Patients belonging to ASA-PS Class III, IV, V; Pre existing MAP < 60mmHg or HR < 60 bpm; A history of allergic reactions, hypersensitivity, or intolerance to anesthetics or their constituents used in the study; A significant medical condition or concurrent medication that would contraindicate spinal anesthesia; Need for invasive BP monitoring; Inability or refusal to provide informed consent; Above T5 block; Obese patient, pregnant female; History of cardiac illness/ abdominal tumor; Good quality of USG image not obtained; Massive intra-op blood loss expected ( >500 ml)
