Inclusion Criteria
— Female, male and diverse patients
— Diagnosis of sepsis after sepsis-3 definition
— Age > 18 years < 80 years
— Treatment in the intensive care units 0119 or 1022 of the University Medical Center Göttingen
— Normal renal function (eGFR > 75ml/min)
Exclusion Criteria
- Age < 18 years > 80 years
- Lack of consent
- Heart failure = NYHA I
- Renal artery stenosis
- Z.n. nephrectomy/splenectomy
