20 patients should be included (additionally 2 patients in the pilot-study) in the study. Condition for it is a switch-gap with a sufficient bone-offer, which guarantees a sufficient primarily-stability of the implant, in the waiter or lower jaw. Also, a transgingival in-cure of the implant must be possible.
Patients, who fill one of the following criterions, must be excluded from the study: minors or not legally competent patients, pregnant patients, alcohol and drug addicted patients, patients, with which an infection-illness, as hepatitis or AIDS, is available, patients with a free end situation in the examined quadrant, patients, that need an immediately-implantation, patients, that require a thick augmentation during the implantation, patients that could get into a conflict of interest on the basis of a participation at another study, patients, which took part in another clinical examination in the last month before her/its/their study-beginning and patients, whose general diseases are against an implantation.
Study & Design
- Study Type
- interventional
- Study Design
- Not specified
- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method 3D-changes of the implant-position directly after implantation and three months past surgery (rotation, Translation), coded in the implant model. Optical digitalization of the implant position after implantation directly and three month later (digident, Amann Girrbach, Pforzheim, D) and 3D-analysis of the implant positions (Geomagic, Geomagic Inc, USA).
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Bone-Level (measurement in x-ray pictures, which will be made after the three month healing period); Esthetics (measurement of the Pink Esthetic Score and VAS after rehabilitation of the patient with a crown)
