Study Overview
Brief Summary
Neck pain is prevalent musculoskeletal condition. Localised neck pain is becoming more frequent often it’s affects the upper portion of the trapezius muscle.The protocol includes Dry needling, positional release therapy and Myofascial release technique.
The participants will be recruited who has pain intensity 3 and above on VAS, restricted cervical range, latent trigger point and unilateral and bilateral tender point. Exclusion criteria includes recent trauma to cervical region, recent cervical pathologies and skin diseases. Outcome measures are pressure pain threshold, CROM , VAS, GROC and NDI. It should be noted at pre and postoperative intervention and after a week. Follow up will be done after one week.

Inclusion Criteria
- •Pain intensity of 3 and above on VAS and presence of restricted cervical range of motion.
- •Latent trigger point in the neck region, participants with unilateral and bilateral tender point.
- •Participants who have agreed to sign a written consent form.
Exclusion Criteria
- •Recent trauma to the cervical region, participants on any anti-inflammatory drugs.
- •Recent cervical pathologies like myelopathy, radiculopathy, herniated disc, spinal stenosis.
- •Skin disease surrounding the area that need to be addressed.
- •Brachial neuralgia.
- •Fear of needles.
