Inclusion Criteria
Patients with fractured hip with moderate to severe pain and unable to sit due to pain and given consent to participate in the study.
Exclusion Criteria
1. Contraindication to regional anaesthesia like bleeding disorder, infection at the site of injection, allergic to local anaesthetic.
2. Severe cardio-respiratory disease.
3. Uncooperative and unable to understand and communicate regarding pain score.
4. Violation of protocol.
5. Refusal to participate.

Name Time Method 1.Decrease in rest pain and pain on passive 15 degree lift of fractured limb. <br/ ><br>2. Ease of spinal positioningTimepoint: Pre-block,and post-block 30min,2h,4h,6h,8h,12h & 24h

Name Time Method 1.Visual analogue score. <br/ ><br>2. Tramadol requirement. <br/ ><br>3. PONV <br/ ><br>4. Block related side effectsTimepoint: 1.Zero hr (at the time of block). <br/ ><br>2.every 5 minutes till 30 minutes. <br/ ><br>3. 2h,4h,6h,8,12h,24h postoperative.
