Inclusion Criteria
1) Renal Transplant Recipients with Vitamin D deficiency <30 ng/ ml
2) Age more than 18 years
3) Patients who understand risks and benefits of enrolling into the study
Exclusion Criteria
1. Hypercalcemia ( > 9 mg/dl)
2. Hyperphosphetemia ( >15 mmol/l)
3. Vitamin D Hypersensitivity
4. Hypervitaminosis D (Vitamin D levels > 80 ng/ ml)
5. Adynamic Bone Disease (serum iPTH levels <50 pg/ml, especially if associated with normal/reduced alkaline phosphatase (AP) levels)
6. Haven’t provided written consent
