Inclusion Criteria

1. Meet the diagnostic criteria for ischemic stroke, confirmed by CT or magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).
2. The clinical symptoms are paralysis on one side of the limb and motor dysfunction of the upper limbs.
3. Patients with six-stage evaluation of hemiplegia recovery after stroke are in stages II to IV.
4. The condition is stable, the consciousness is clear, and the assessment and communication are barrier-free.
5. Patients with no upper extremity dysfunction in the past medical history, first onset or with sequelae of the past history of stroke.
6. Those who participated in the trial voluntarily signed the relevant informed consent.

Exclusion Criteria

1. Patients with severe cardiovascular disease, hypertension, respiratory infection, severe renal dysfunction, severe diabetes mellitus, and patients with a history of mental illness, accompanied by disqualification, apraxia syndrome, and intellectual disability that affects communication and evaluation.
2. Patients on thrombolytic therapy.
3. Patients with poor physique such as fear of acupuncture and easy dizziness are not suitable for acupuncture treatment.
4. Have taken sedative drugs and muscle relaxants recently.
5. Patients with TIA, reversible ischemic neurological deficit, subarachnoid hemorrhage, etc.
