1)Normal healthy volunteers exposed to background radiation: 50
2)Normal healthy volunteers exposed to diagnostic procedures:30
(healthy volunteers undergoing diagnostic mammogram, CT scans, PET/CT scans and x-rays as screening procedures)
3)Patients of breast, cervix, head and neck and liver cancer undergoing diagnostic imaging (Mammography, CT scan, PET/CT, 4D CT) or therapeutic fractionated radiation will be included in the study.
1)No family history of cancer
2)Not diagnosed with any radiosensitive syndrome like Ataxia talengectesia/fanconiâ??s anemia.
3)Patients with diagnostic radiation should not have received any previous chemotherapy, hormone therapy, targeted therapy or radiation therapy and should not have undergone any radiographic imaging in the preceding 6 weeks.
4)Patients with therapeutic radiation should not be planned for any chemotherapy, hormone therapy or targeted therapy during the period of blood sampling for this study.
