Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All patients enrolled in this study were adults between 20 and 79 years of age and underwent EMR or polypectomy after admission. These patients were in a relatively healthy condition corresponding to the American Society of Anesthesia (ASA) classification 1 or 2
Exclusion Criteria
- •Exclusion criteria were patients with suspected colon obstruction, a history of heart failure, renal failure, severe dyspnea; patients with a bleeding tendency (international normalized ratio \>1\.5 or platelet count \<50 000 cells/µL); patients with a PEG allergy and surgical history of gastrectomy or colonic resection; patients with progressive or toxic colon that may lead to marked mucosal damage; pregnant women; patients with dementia; and patients unable to follow the study protocol.
