Investigators
Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •1\. Adult patients over 19 years old
- •2\. Diagnosis of stroke by neurologist or neurosurgery using radiologic tools like CT or MRI
- •3\. Airway aspiration of liquid diet confirmed by videofluoroscopic swallowing study (VFSS) within a month after stroke onset
- •4\. Over 1\-step cooperation is possible
- •5\. Neck control and sitting is possible
- •6\. No problems with swallowing before stroke onset
Exclusion Criteria
- •1\. History of stroke with a transient ischemic attack or existing clinical symptoms
- •2\. Progressive or unstable stroke
- •3\. Existing serious neurogenic disease
- •4\. Existing severe liver, kidney, heart and respiratory disease
- •5\. Lifespan less than 1 year, because of medical illness
