1)patients undergoing elective cardiac surgeries
2)ASA Graade II & III
3)Wight between 40 to 70 kg
4)Having an ejection fraction of more than 40%
5)HbA1c less than 6.5(if diabetic)
6)willing to give informed written consent for study
1) Patients not willing to participate in study
2) Patients with history of drug allergy
3) Patients with pre-existing renal or hepatic dysfunction
4) patients with Congestive Heart Failure and acute myocardial infarction
5) Patients having BMI more than 30
6) Diabetic Patients with HbA1c more than 6.5
7) Difficult Intubation, second attemt of intubation
8) Duration of Laryngoscopy exceeding 20 seconds
