简要总结

The present study aims to compare lumbopelvic motor control between young elite cricket players having low back pain and those without low back pain.

A cross-sectional study design will be used. Sixty male cricket players aged 18–30 years, playing at intercollege, taluka, district, or state levels, will be recruited from various sports academies of South Gujarat.

Participants will be assessed for low back pain using the Athlete Disability Index (ADI) questionnaire. Lumbopelvic motor control will be evaluated using the Chattanooga Pressure Biofeedback Unit through standardized tests — Bent Knee Fall-Out (BKFO), Knee Lift Abdominal Test (KLAT), Standing Knee-Lift Test, and Dynamic Lunge Test.

The results will help determine whether impaired lumbopelvic motor control is associated with low back pain in cricketers and provide insights for targeted training and rehabilitation strategies.

  • Minimum 1 year of participation in Cricket at intercollege, Taluka, District Level.

排除标准

  • Any kind of Musculoskeletal injury which could interfere normal cricket training or competing at the time of the study and previous history of low back pain surgery.
