Eligibility Criteria
Inclusion Criteria
- •All adult patients undergoing VATS oesophagectomy requiring one lung ventilation
Exclusion Criteria
- •EXCLUSION CRITERIA:
- •1\)ASA physical status 3 and above
- •2\)Valvular heart disease
- •3\)LVEF less than 50%
- •4\)FEV1 less than 60% predicted
- •5\)DLCO less than 60% predicted
- •6\)Patients unable to give a valid consent
- •7\)All patients where Double Lumen Tube or Endobronchial Blocker placement was found to be unsatisfactory .
- •8\)Patients requiring mephenteramine to maintain blood pressure within 10 min prior to institution of ARM.
