The aim of this study will be to find out the efficacy of Modified constraint-induced movement therapy (mCIMT) and Motor relearning program (MRP) on balance and gait in subacute hemiplegic stroke.

1. A score of =24 on mini mental state examination.
2. Modified rankin scale equal or less than 3.
3. Patients with brunnstrom stage for hand and leg more than or equal to 4
4. Modified ashworth scale less or equal to 2.
5. Be able to understand and follow instructions
1. Patients with balance disturbance due to neurological disorders other than stroke (e.g. Parkinson’s
disease, inner ear, vestibular or cerebellar dysfunctions).
2. Patients with uncontrolled hypertension or symptomatic cardiac failure or unstable angina.
3. Acute stroke (flaccid stage).
4. Physician determined unstable cardiovascular conditions.
5. Patient diagnosed with the failure of vital organ, such as lungs, heart and kidneys.
6. Patients with any traumatic musculoskeletal injury to lower limbs
