Inclusion Criteria
Children who undergone Blood Transfusion who will be fulfilling the following criteria
1 Child who can read, write or understand Gujarati and Hindi.
2 Confirmed diagnosis of Beta Thalassemia Major and undergoing Blood Transfusion
3Age between 8-18 years
4 Both Genders
5Child and Parents who are willing to participate for the study.

1Child who is chronically ill

Name Time Method The quality of life of children with thalassemia major will be improved with the implementation of self care model. <br/ ><br>HRQOL- SF 36 scale will be usedTimepoint: The quality of life of children with thalassemia major will be assessed at 6 month during each blood transfusion after implementation of self care model.
