Brief Summary

In this study, Total spinal BMD, Interochanter BMD, and TBS are tools that early detect osteoporosis in postmenopausal women with low energy trauma ankle fractures earlier than total hip BMD. In practice, VFA and TBS investigation may be informative to guide in the treatment of postmenopausal patients diagnosed with a non-fatal ankle fracture in the future.
