Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
This research intends to evaluate the effectiveness of the use of an user embracement session based on Solution Focused Brief Therapy to increase alcohol and other drugs users' adherence to specialized treatment. The analysis of the collected data can make it possible to observe if the use of an user embracement session based on Solution Focused Brief Therapy has helped to increase adherence to treatment when compared to the usual user embracement already offered by CAPSad.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
The study may contribute to observation of which of the two user embracement types (the one based on Solution Focused Brief Therapy and usual user embracement already offered by CAPSad) offers better results in relation to the motivation of the patient for change and their hope regarding treatment at the end of the user embracement session. In addition, the study may allow the comparison of treatment satisfaction between participants in the intervention group (GI) and comparison group (CG), after three months of user embracement and the comparison of alcohol and other drug use among participants of the GC and IG, three months after the user embracement.
