1. Hip fractures undergo PFNA for primary fixation under SA.,
2. American Society of Anesthesiologists (ASA) physical status I-IV,
3. Body weight > 40 kg
1. Body mass index (BMI) < 18 or > 35 kg/m2,
2. Contraindications to perform SA and PNB (e.g., patient refusal, skin puncture site infection, bleeding tendency, coagulopathy),
3. Hypersensitivity to local anesthetics,
4. Comorbidity such as neurocognitive impairment, communication problems, hepatic or renal failure, neuromuscular disease of lower extremities,
5. Chronic pain with history of long-term opioid use or abuse
