- •A prospective cohort of patients aged more than 18 years presenting with AP with suspected IPN will be enrolled in the study after getting an informed consent

- •Patient with HIV infection based on positive ELISA and known immunodeficiency states
- •Patients with Chronic Pancreatitis/ Acute on Chronic Pancreatitis
- •Patients presenting beyond 2 weeks of pain onset
- •Patients with malignancy
- •Refusal to give consent
