Primary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
The goal is to prove the causality between nasal intubation and loss of smell / taste. For this, all parameters under which the operation was carried out are compared. Afterwards, post-operative tests are carried out with so-called sniffing sticks” to make the results comparable.
Secondary Outcome Measures
NameTimeMethod
Another goal is to find out whether smell training can improve or remedy dysosmia. For this, the patients receive a fragrance quartet with which they train their sense of smell every day. After six months, another test is carried out with the sniffing sticks” to observe the development.
