Inclusion Criteria
All patients who experience dysosmia and dysgeusia postoperatively.
Exclusion Criteria
Alcohol and substance abuse
Nasal infection or deformation
Congenital, neurological, endocrinological and mental illnesses
Traumas of the midface or cranium in the past 6 months

- Primary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method The goal is to prove the causality between nasal intubation and loss of smell / taste. For this, all parameters under which the operation was carried out are compared. Afterwards, post-operative tests are carried out with so-called sniffing sticks” to make the results comparable.
- Secondary Outcome Measures
Name Time Method Another goal is to find out whether smell training can improve or remedy dysosmia. For this, the patients receive a fragrance quartet with which they train their sense of smell every day. After six months, another test is carried out with the sniffing sticks” to observe the development.
