- •expert survey: the team from Hamburg will conduct a web-based survey with national experts from different fields in patient-centered medical care (clinicans, patient representives, researcher, quality manager). Participants receive an e-mail that informs about the nature and aims of the study and includes a link to the online survey.
- •patient interviews: the team from Freiburg will question patients from center of geriatrics and gerontology Freiburg, at least two diagnosed diseases, sufficient language capability. These participants have to be at least 65 years old.

- •patient interviews: severe cognitive restrictions, psychosis or suicidal thoughts
